TEM-001. Advanced Team Building
Objectives: Allow those participating to undergo a program that pushes
them to their physical as well as mental limits while performing a
decision making task. Those completing this course will have a better
understanding of themselves as well as their leadership style under stress
or in a crisis.
TEM-002. Building a Successful Team
Objectives: A major building block of today's organizations is the work
team. As organizations re-form work groups into teams, those individuals
who have experience and success in the creation of teams have a
much-sought skill that makes them valued and successful professionals.
Participants will learn the steps to effective team creation,
implementation, and evaluation.
TEM-003. Building Bridges of Success
Objectives: Topics include Developing Cross-Team Goals, Establishing

TEM-004. Building Trust in Teams
Objectives: Clarify expectations and establish goals by breaking down the
barriers to shared information. Understand the power – who has it, who
controls it, and how to share it. Gain insight to the "weakness" maze –
how to find a way to ask for help. Explore other questions, such as, Who’s
the new guy – establishing trusted agents, Talking the talk – how to
communicate trust, The Trust Minefield – preparing to take the first step.
TEM-005. Consensus Building
Objectives: Participants will be able to identify the benefits and common
misconceptions of the consensus process; describe the three stages of the
consensus process and facilitation strategies for moving a group through
the various stages. Discuss the step-by-step process for reaching
consensus in group meetings and teams. Identify how to facilitate and
conduct meetings for collective decision making among diverse individuals
and teams. Identify the organizational benefits of problem solving through
a collaborative (win/win) process. Discuss the leadership behavior that
creates "Teamwork Thinking" in the workplace.
TEM-006. Creating a Highly Reliable Organization
Objectives: The application of the Highly Reliable Organizations (HRO)
model increases performance in an ever- increasing complex environment,
including complex communication structures, enhancing an organization’s
ability to discover and correct errors before they escalate into a crisis.
Basic HRO principles allow organizations to contain crisis situations,
managing crises into resolutions. It develops processes to work in a
fluid, organized manner, focusing energy and expertise where and when it
is needed.
TEM-007. Creating the Unified Team
Objectives: Using survival training as a vehicle, create the environment
that fosters unity and cohesiveness amongst teammates. Build confidence in
the individual and the team, creating that spark that will ignite the fire
of productivity.
TEM-008. Platform to Successful Team Basics
Objectives: Responsibility and
Accountability – Your Job, My Job, or OUR Job; Determining Your Role on
the Team; Building Two-Way Communications; Sharing Ownership; Developing a
Shared Vision; Using the Tools of an Effective Team; Setting Expectations.
TEM-009. Trust and Respect
Objectives: Discuss and create techniques to build trust and respect among
team members and between the team and its leader. Show the importance of
trust and respect in the workplace.
TEM-010. The Dysfunctional Team
Objectives: Understand the five basic dysfunctions of a team. Identify
those characteristics and how they contribute to the success or failure of
the task at hand. Learn to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your
team and cultivate strategies for overcoming those dysfunctions. Get the
results you want from your team!
