WLB-001. Change Management
Objectives: A few of us embrace change with all its attendant
uncertainties. More of us shy away from it, primarily because we feel ill
equipped to manage ourselves through its processes. Participants will have
the unique opportunity to explore change in a humorous and engaging way.
As a result, participants will begin to craft a plan that allows them to
view change not as a threat, but as an opportunity for self-discovery and
growth.
WLB-002. Conflict Management
Objectives: Examine the following topics: Sources and Dynamics of
Conflict, Communication and Negotiation Skills in Conflict Management,
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) including Arbitration, Mediation and
Ombudsmen.
WLB-003. Decision Making
Objectives: Learn how to identify and clarify the decisions that need to
be made. Explore the variables that impact decision-making. Identify the
affected parties of a decision outcome and examine how to define strategic
goals. Consider all analysis points and system impacts. Learn how to move
from decisions to action.
WLB-004. Domestic Violence – A Workplace Issue
Objectives: Understand how the cycle of domestic violence elevates and
becomes a danger to those in the workplace. "Violence doesn’t stay home
when the victim goes to work!" Explore what workplace domestic violence
looks like, identify and "read" the signs, identify the "victims", and
look at the effects on the workplace (i.e. productivity, morale,
attendance, statistics of crime related incidents). The establishment of
workplace security, education and training are emphasized.
WLB-005. FISH!
Objectives: You can only control two things in this world – yourself and
your attitude. See a real-life business that made a conscious effort to
present a positive attitude to it’s clients and the amazing results!
WLB-006. I Don't Wear a Size Seven
Objectives: To be successful, most professionals must learn to turn the
financial, emotional, and physical challenges of their careers to their
advantage. Participants will reflect upon their professional choices and
personal lives through a series of brief exercises and activities.
Participants will identify opportunities to re-define themselves,
professionally and personally.
WLB-007. Managing Emotions
Objectives: Increase awareness of emotions – yours and others. Examine
emotional vocabulary. Identify common emotions that evaluate and provoke.
Explore the sources of emotions, the emotion iceberg and emotional
intensity. Practice "communicate and respond" emotions role-plays for
effective resolution skills. Establish boundaries for the emotions of
others.
WLB-008. Relational Intelligence
Objectives: This training discusses the ways individuals, departments, or
organizations display poor relational esteem. Where there may be strength
in the area of substantive esteem or policy and practice (toeing the legal
line), without a healthy balance of relational esteem and organization or
company could be headed for trouble. This training will outline the
characteristics of poor relational esteem displayed typically by shame and
grandiosity. We will also discuss the skill set for repair communication.
Substance without relationship in the workplace means a slow death for
everyone.
WLB-009. Repair Skills
Objectives: This training discusses the ways individuals, departments, or
organizations display poor repair skills in work relationships. This
training will outline the impact of poor repair skills on productivity and
communication. We will also discuss the skill set for repair
communication, including characteristics of an effective apology.
WLB-010. Surviving a Hostage Situation
Objectives: Provide a better understanding of what can happen when you
become a hostage and how to increase your chances of survival.
WLB-011. Surviving Being Trapped
Objectives: Provide the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to increase
your chances of surviving if trapped in a building or building rubble in
crisis or disaster.
WLB-012. Time Management
Objectives: Learn time management and mastery skills – find out the
difference between important and urgent. Urgent things may not relate to
goals, but they are always more demanding. Learn to focus on important and
ignore urgent. Identify the six common time “problems.”
WLB-013. Wellness Training
Objectives: Learn wellness skills including stress management, nutrition
education, water treatment, air treatment, effective weight management
programs, meditation techniques, Qi-Cung, Feng Shui, massage, total
wellness programs for workplace and effective individual skill sets that
can be used at home.
WLB-014. What’s My Personality?
Objectives: (Using the Enneagram) This presentation will look at the nine
personality types, gaining an understanding of the key motivations of each
type and how those motivators impact behavior. We will look at how each
personality type manages stress, personal relationships, communication,
and identify ways for maximizing your personal power and potential at
work, as well as other areas of your professional and personal life.
WLB-015. What’s My Style?
Objectives: (Using the Gregorc Style Analysis Instrument) Everyone has an
individual “style” they use to approach life and its’ management, whether
it involve time, work, leisure or other personal issues. When people
interact, their “style” impacts how well they work together and what the
end product might be when they do.
WLB-016. Winning Negotiations
Objectives: Define the tangible and intangible elements of negotiation.
Risk analysis and ethical considerations are examined. Review the role of
verbal and non-verbal communication in successful negotiations.
