Continuing Education CreditsCRA offers Continuing Education Credits through Lecture, Brown Bag Lunches, DVD, and the Internet to a broad spectrum of professionals. Continuing Education (CE) requirements are intended to encourage professionals to expand basic knowledge in the field and stay current on new techniques and information that may increase their ability to apply that knowledge. Depending on the field, these requirements may be satisfied in a number of ways. These credits are available to non-traditional students, non-degree career training, workforce training, personal development, self-directed learning and experiential learning.
As Approved Trainers for the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution,
Conflict Resolution Academy offers Basic/General Mediation Training and Practicum courses that allow participants to register as a Neutral with the State of Georgia and mediate court disputes. Attendees may also offer independent mediation services as a professional business or develop programs for corporations. These classes qualify for Continuing Education Credit for a large variety of professionals.
Continuing Legal Education Credits (CLE) are also available through Conflict Resolution Academy. The Georgia Bar Association has approved live training and our DVD programs, for self-study, as a resource for CLE credit.
Continuing Education Credits (CE) are available to Mediators, Dispute Resolution specialists, Human Resource specialists, Court Reporters, Attorneys, Social Workers, Counselors and other professionals in need of credit through Brown Bag lunches, DVDs, training classes, and contract training.
Brown Bag Lunches are held quarterly by Conflict Resolution Academy in order to provide the opportunity for participants to obtain FREE Continuing Education Credits. These programs offer people the opportunity to network with other professionals and earn one free CE credit.
